Became the first major brand in the shower foam market to introduce refill pouch packaging 2000 Launched Systema Toothbrush in March 2001 Shokubutsu Body Foam was awarded “Body Cleanser of the Year” (Readers’ Choice) by Her World magazine in October In June, LION launched Mama Lemon Anti- Bacterial (with safety mineral extracts), the first anti-bacterial dishwashing liquid in the market 2002 20th Anniversary Celebrations2003 Shokubutsu Body Foam (Green Tea Oil) was named “Best-selling Green Tea Body Foam”, in Watson’s Health & Beauty Awards and Shokubutsu Body Foam was also awarded “Body Cleanser of the Year” (Readers’ Choice) by Her World magazine Shokubutsu Body & Facial Foam range was presented with the “Singapore Star Award for Packaging” (Commercial Sales and Display Category), a prestigious national award organised and promoted by the Packaging Council of Singapore, and endorsed by International Enterprise Singapore. In the same year, Lion launched Kirei Kirei Family Medicated Hand Soap, in response to consumer needs during the SARS crisis2004 Launched TOP Detergent in April, with innovative and advanced biotech enzymes, making clothing ‘Suitable for Indoor Drying’. Launched Shokubutsu Extra Moisturizing Body Foam (Oat Milk) in July, with moisture-retaining essence of seed from oligosaccharide2005 Launched Free & Free Hair Treatment range in April, with revolutionary ingredient DGA, to repair and restore coloured and damaged hair LION maintains a strong presence in Asia, covering Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and South Korea.
